Project overview

Bach from Home was an ambitious digital initiative that united three major Bach festivals—Thüringer Bachwochen, Bachfest Leipzig, and Köthener Bachfesttage—on a single streaming platform. Designed to provide a high-quality virtual concert experience, the platform allowed music lovers worldwide to access live and on-demand performances from historical venues deeply connected to Johann Sebastian Bach’s legacy. Tshakka developed a seamless, fully branded streaming solution that integrated ticketing, live broadcasts, and an interactive audience experience, ensuring that the magic of Bach’s compositions remained accessible, no matter the location.

Results

With more than 40 live concerts streamed, Bach from Home successfully brought together thousands of classical music enthusiasts from around the world. Rather than focusing on revenue generation, the platform was designed to make Bach’s music more accessible, offering many performances free of charge. By transforming traditional concerts into a high-quality digital experience, the project allowed audiences to enjoy the magic of Bach’s compositions from the comfort of their homes, preserving the cultural significance of his work.
